Supporting Presheva Albanians: Advocacy in the USA

The press being exerted on the Albanians of the Presheva Valley should be a topic of global diplomacy, and Kosovo is successfully supporting this effort by turning it into a national agenda. Therefore, the Self-Determination Movement! – Center in the USA will contribute uniquely to exposing Serbia’s agenda of ethnic cleansing of Albanians from Presheva, Medvegja, and Bujanoci to the most democratic politics and diplomacy worldwide, particularly in the United States.

For this purpose, our Center has organized an official dinner with the delegation of Albanians from the Presheva Valley, who are on an official visit to the USA. The delegation comprises Ardita Sinani – advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, deputy in the Serbian Parliament Shaip Kamberi, Ragmi Mustafi – Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Besnik Bislimi, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Bujanoci Nagip Arifi.

Strengthening the Albanians of the Presheva Valley, securing their rights, and drafting a comprehensive platform for Albanians in the Valley were the topics discussed at this meeting. The Presheva Valley delegation informed us about the suppression of Albanians in the Presheva Valley through mechanisms established by the current President Aleksandar Vucic, which even surpass those of the Balkan butcher Slobodan Miloshevic.

The Self-Determination Movement! – Center in the USA will provide a full and unconditional contribution to the assistance needed by our fellow countrymen in the Valley to enjoy the rights and civil liberties guaranteed by international conventions, as well as in previous agreements between the Serbian Government and Albanians there, in the past, following the peace agreement and the disarmament of the UÇPMB.
